Dog Control Stakeholder Group

The Dog Control Stakeholder Group was established in March 2024 and is made up of representatives from key government departments and interest groups. It meets on a quarterly basis and will make recommendations on strengthening the policy and legislation around dog control.
The group is chaired by former Deputy Garda Commissioner John Twomey.
