Dormant Account Action Plan 2018

In July 2018, this year’s Action Plan was launched by Minister Seán Kyne, TD, former Minister of State at the Department of Rural and Community Development.

In this Action Plan, there is almost €40 million to support 45 schemes across 10 government departments.

These schemes will help some of the most vulnerable sections of the population. They will help to:

• promote social inclusion
• house the homeless
• aid migrants
• support carers
• supply funding for speech and language therapy
• provide funding for Irish Sign Language
• support dementia sufferers

The Action Plan is made available to the public every year.
