Principal Officer, Programme Delivery and Alignment Unit

The Programme Development & Alignment Unit supports the delivery of the Department’s capital investment programmes creating efficiencies in the design of the schemes, and ensuring policy and scheme alignment. It contributes towards an improved base of information (qualitative and quantitative) that feeds into decision-making across the Department.

The Unit is also responsible for the Capital Delivery Teams initiative in local authorities. These teams are focused on improving and expediting the delivery of DRCD-funded schemes and projects; and engaging with local communities and other stakeholders to generate high quality shovel ready projects.
