Tim Duggan

Pensions Policy/Auto Enrolment Programme/Investment & Actuarial Analysis

Tim Duggan is the Assistant Secretary General with responsibility for the development and implementation of policy and legislation relating to the State Pension and associated secondary schemes (such as Household Benefits, Fuel Allowance, Free Travel), and Occupational and Private Pensions including the development and implementation of the Auto Enrolment Retirement Savings Programme. He is also responsible for the Department’s Investment & Actuarial Analysis function.

Tim has held a number of senior policy and operational positions in the department in the last number of years.

Prior to that he worked at Assistant Secretary General and Principal levels in the Departments of Finance and Public Expenditure and Reform.
