The National Social Inclusion Monitor is an annual monitoring tool which reports on progress towards the ambition of the Roadmap for Social Inclusion to “Reduce consistent poverty to 2% or less and to make Ireland one of the most socially inclusive countries in the EU”.
It also examines Ireland’s contribution to the EU poverty target and examines progress on the two national sub-targets for reducing poverty among children and jobless households.
