Why we are launching a consultation

This is pursuant to the drafting of an Irish Language Scheme in accordance with the Official Languages Act 2003 (Section 11). The primary objective of the Act is to ensure better availability and a higher standard of public services through Irish.

How to get involved

You can make a submission by email: gaeilge@welfare.ie

The closing date for receipt of submissions is 5pm on Friday 22 October 2021.
