Outcomes of public consultation phase
On Friday 31 March the Department of Social Protection launched its public consultation on Reasonable Accommodation Fund Grants. This was an opportunity for people to have their say on the future of these grants. The Consultation ran until 13 May.
The Department received 32 submissions and 913 survey responses from a wide range of people and backgrounds.
Submission and survey responses
The Department of Social Protection received 306 responses to the survey for people with disabilities, 228 responses to the survey for employers, and 379 responses to the survey for people working for the Department including the Public Employment Service.
The Department of Social protection also received 7 submissions from individual members of the public and 25 submissions from organisations. The organisations are listed below.

The different views and experiences expressed in the surveys and submissions will be considered and included in the review of the Reasonable Accommodation Fund grants.
