External Service Delivery
The External Service Delivery section has responsibility for the contract management of activation services provided on the departments behalf by third parties. This includes the provision of the JobPath, Local Employment Service (LES) and Job Club services, Branch Managers and Employability
Customer Communications and Service
The department’s Communication Unit promotes consistent, high quality internal and external communications, thereby improving service for both staff and customers alike. It incorporates the functions of Information provision across all channels including the department’s website and Press Office and finally, it manages customer service issues which might arise.
Business Architect Office
Business Architect's Office aligns and supports the strategic goals and objectives of the department with decisions on operational capabilities, business processes, business and IT initiatives. It is responsible for ensuring consistency between technical solutions and business needs and brings a holistic approach to business developments across the organisation through linking of business, policy and technical objectives
Digital Services
The Digital Services division is responsible for planning and managing the development of the department’s new online service portal - MyWelfare.ie, and its customer support services, while also leading projects to migrate all DSP scheme areas onto MyWelfare.ie in a planned manner. We are also responsible for promoting and driving use of online channels by clients.
