Welfare Policy, Disability and International Division

The Welfare Policy, Disability and International division are responsible for Working Age, Disability and EU International Policy. They develop and support the implementation of appropriate disability policies (including carers policy).

Other matters they are involved with include legislation relating to:

• Gender Recognition Act
• European Pillar of Social Rights and associated initiatives
• Brexit
• North/South issues
• department's income support
• policy reviews
• Civil Registration Service
