Minister Calleary announces details of Intreo Work and Skills events taking place in Cavan and Longford

Minister for Social Protection Dara Calleary today announced details of the upcoming Intreo Work and Skills recruitment events taking place in Cavan and Longford as part of the nationwide Work and Skills initiative.
The events taking place in Cavan and Longford are as follows:

A Center Parcs Recruitment Event is taking place at St Mary’s Parish Hall, Longford on 3 April from 10am to 1pm. Center Parcs will be actively recruiting for positions such as Bar and Wait staff, Leisure Activities Instructors, Housekeeper and Cleaners, Beauticians, Chefs and Kitchen Assistants.
A Transport and Logistics Career Fair is being held at the Cavan Crystal Hotel on 4 April from 10.30am to 12.30pm. There will be opportunities available in Driving, Mechanics, Operational and Administrative roles. Employers attending this event include Mannok, Virginia Transport, Joe McGovern Transport, Harte Peat Ltd, Charles O Reilly Haulage, James Quinn Transport, Noble Freight Ltd and Pat the Baker.
At the Employment and Information event in the Longford Arms Hotel on 10 April, employers attending include Center Parcs, Pat the Baker, Nua Healthcare, Writech, Defence Forces and Beacon Recruitment.
These Work and Skills events provide jobseekers with an opportunity to connect with employers who are actively recruiting. It is recommended that jobseekers bring along a number of copies of their CV to apply for roles they are interested in.

“Our teams will also be onsite to provide information on the department’s supports and services, and to offer guidance on job searching.
