Roles on offer at the Transport and Logistics Fair include jobs for Drivers, Warehouse Operatives and Mechanics. Employers attending the event include Masterlink, South Coast Logistics, Musgrave, GE Healthcare and Wiser Bins.
At the multi-sector recruitment event in Mallow, attendees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from Barróg Healthcare, PE Global and Morgan McKinley among many others who are looking to meet potential future employees. Jobs on offer include positions in administration, marketing, engineering and construction.
The team from FET Bishopstown and the FET Centre, Mallow will also be in attendance providing information on training options available.
The Work and Skills events provide jobseekers with an opportunity to connect with employers who are actively recruiting. Jobseekers also have the opportunity to learn about the training options available, and avail of job seeking advice to help them take the next step in their career. It is recommended that jobseekers bring along a number of copies of their CV to apply for roles they are interested in.
Commenting on the events, Minister Calleary said:
“I encourage anyone seeking a new career or looking to upskill or retrain to attend the events to learn about the jobs on offer, and to explore the many training options available to help you achieve your goals.
“Our teams will also be onsite to provide information on the department’s supports and services, and to offer guidance on job searching.
“In addition to the Work and Skills events, I would recommend that you visit JobsIreland, our job vacancy website to explore the vast array of opportunities on offer.”
Information on the full range of Work and Skills events open to the public and how to register to attend is available at www.gov.ie/WorkandSkills.
