Minister Calleary announces details of Intreo Work and Skills events taking place in Wicklow and Wexford

Minister for Social Protection Dara Calleary today announced details of the upcoming Intreo Work and Skills recruitment events taking place in Wicklow and Wexford as part of the nationwide Work and Skills initiative.
The events taking place in Wicklow and Wexford are as follows:

A Work and Skills Recruitment and Training Fair is taking place at the Wicklow Library on 9 April from 10am to 1pm. Local employers from the Bray, Wicklow Town and Arklow areas are due to attend with roles available in a range of sectors including Healthcare, Social care, Administration, Sales, Warehouse Operatives, Printing, Accountancy, Administration and Retail.
On 10 April from 10.30am to 1.30 pm a Work and Skills Jobs Fair is taking place at the Talbot Hotel in Wexford. Employers due to attend on the day include Infosys, Kare Plan, Clannad Care, Scurri and Zurich. Roles available include IT (e-commerce), Food Manufacturing, Customer Service Agents, Tech Support and Carers.
These Work and Skills events provide jobseekers with an opportunity to connect with employers who are actively recruiting. It is recommended that jobseekers bring along a number of copies of their CV to apply for roles they are interested in.

“I encourage anyone seeking a new career or looking to upskill or retrain to attend the events to learn about the jobs on offer, and to explore the many training options available to help you achieve your goals.
“Our teams will also be onsite to provide information on the department’s supports and services, and to offer guidance on job searching.
