Gary Martin

Gary Martin is the Head of Internal Corporate Governance Division and Chief Risk Officer in the Department.

He is responsible for a number of key internal control functions, including:

• Access to Information on the Environment (AIE) Unit
• Data Protection Unit
• Freedom of Information (FOI) Unit
• Protected Disclosures Unit
• Risk Management Unit – including Secretariat to the Risk Committee

The Division is also undertaking a review of additional internal corporate governance functions which may benefit from centralisation under new structures, including a Records Management Project.
