Gerard Kirrane is Chief Technology Officer for the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). The Technology Directorate is dedicated to leveraging advanced technology solutions and services to achieve the following objectives:
1. Develop, manage, and deliver National Cyber Defence Services that enhance and support defence and resilience capabilities for our constituents nationally
2. Enable seamless and secure digital communication with the public, stakeholders, and partners, fostering trust and collaboration
3. Provide secure internal technology solutions and expertise to enable and support the mission and objectives of the NCSC
4. Develop and deploy solutions and services that provide real-time insights, analytics, and threat intelligence
5. Maintain and advance internal information security initiatives, safeguarding the NCSC's infrastructure and data assets against evolving cyber threats
