John Finnegan

John Finnegan is the Principal Officer, Electricity Networks and Systems with responsibility for ensuring that the Electricity Network is developed to meet the needs of energy and climate policy. The division ensure that the electricity transmission and distribution grid is extended and reinforced to provide a secure and reliable supply of electricity making maximum use of renewables and that connections to the grid are available on a timely basis to new generators and users. The division also has oversight of the system services that are needed to ensure effective operation of the grid.
