Stephen Brophy is the Principal Officer leading the Non-Residential Energy Efficiency Division in the Department of the Environment, Climate and Communications. He is responsible for Public Sector Energy Efficiency, Commercial and Industrial Energy Efficiency schemes including the Business Energy User Scheme (BEUS) and the Excellence in Energy Efficiency Design (EXEED) scheme, as well as the Energy Efficiency Obligation Scheme (EEOS) and leads the department's work on the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive.
