Public Consultation on the Draft National Adaptation Plan for the Communications Sector (Broadcasting and Telecommunications)

​​​The Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment has produced a Draft National Adaptation Plan for the Communications Sector, as mandated by the government's National Adaptation Framework and Climate Action and Low Carbon Development Act, 2015.

This Draft National Adaptation Plan for the Communications Sector presents an assessment of climate risks to these sectors and describes at a high level key adaptive measures.

The objective of this public consultation is to invite all interested parties to contribute their views on the Draft Plan during a 4 week consultation process. The views of the public are essential to delivering a comprehensive Plan that thoroughly assesses the risks an​d vulnerabilities of our communications network to climate change.
