The aim of this consultation is to gather stakeholder feedback on the draft Wild Salmon and Sea Trout Tagging Scheme (Amendment) Regulations 2023.
Background
Eamon Ryan TD, Minister for the Environment, Climate and Communications, gives statutory notice of his intention to make the Wild Salmon and Sea Trout Tagging Scheme (Amendment) Regulations 2023, to provide for the management of the wild salmon and sea trout fishery by Inland Fisheries Ireland from 1 January 2024.
A copy of the draft regulations is open for public inspection at our offices in Cavan. The draft regulations are also available to view or download above.
How to make a submission
The closing date for submissions is 5.30pm on 15 December 2023
Late submissions will not be considered.
