Irish delegation to COP29 Overflow Badge Accreditation Application

The Department of Environment, Climate and Communications is accepting expressions of interest to receive an overflow delegation badge to attend the Conference of Parties Climate Change Conference (COP29), which will take place from 11 to 22 November 2024.

DECC will issue a limited number of overflow delegation badges. Applications are due by 23 September 2024.

Attendees would be responsible for all associated travel costs and expenses to attend COP29 if offered an overflow badge. Additionally, those selected to receive a badge would be responsible for securing their own visas (the UNFCCC provides a link post registration), meet all requirements set by the COP29 organisers and the host country and to submit any information that organisers request to register recipients such as passport information.

Applicants will be informed of the assignment of badges by the end of September.
