The Director of Geological Survey Ireland has responsibility for provision of data, maps, information, advice and partnering in a range of areas. They support policy development by DECC in the Geoscience Policy Division, offshore renewable energy (ORE) and research and other departments such as DHLGH in areas of water and construction materials/aggregates.
