Principal Officer, Cyber Security, Internet Policy, and Emergency Planning

The Principal Officer Cyber Security Policy, Internet Policy and Emergency Planning has responsibility for setting national cyber security policy, developing the Irish policy position on cyber security at the EU and International level and for the development and oversight of the National Cyber Security Strategy. The Internet Policy team oversees and develops the Irish position on internet governance and nuisance communications and represents the State at various international fora. The Emergency Planning team has responsibility for developing emergency readiness and resilience in the Communications Sector and represents the Communications Sector at the National Emergency Co-ordination Group.
