The Principal Officer, Digital Innovation and Eircodes has responsibility to deliver on the strategic direction, oversight and implementation of National Digital Strategies; National Digital Research Centre (NDRC); Digital Hub Development Authority (DHDA); Emergency Call Answering Service (ECAS); National Postcode System, Eircode and the implementation of EU Data legislation that realises the benefits of a digital economy, including artificial intelligence (AI), and supports the EU Digital Decade policy programme 2030
