The Principal Officer of the Energy Security Emergency Management is responsible for the coordination of the national response to the impact of the war in Ukraine on Ireland’s energy system. This includes:
- Coordination of the work of the Energy Security Group
- Coordination of assistance provided to Ukraine by Ireland in the energy sector
- Development of proposed projects for funding under REPowerEU.
