9.55pm: Dept of Education advises that schools in Dublin should remain closed tomorrow (Wednesday)
12.45pm: ESB Networks Storm Barra update: Crews are restoring power where safe to do so
- as at 12.45pm, approximately 49,000 electricity customers are without power across the country

9.20am: All Post Offices in Cork and Kerry will remain closed and there will be no mail deliveries or collections. In Co Clare, postal deliveries services will operate as normal until 2pm and Post Offices will close at 2pm. Any Children’s Allowance payments due for payment today, will be paid at Post Offices tomorrow. Letter, parcel and Post Office services will operate as normal in all other counties today.
6.15am: DSP offices and branch offices will be closed in counties Clare, Cork, Limerick and Kerry today.
