The mission of Corporate Affairs Division is to:
- deliver high-quality financial, procurement and travel management
- human resources
- ICT
- accommodation
- records and information management
and other support services to the Department of the Taoiseach and its staff within a robust governance framework.
As part of our ongoing work, we seek to identify opportunities to improve business processes, communications and information flows across the department and with our internal and external customers.
The division also organises guided tours of Government Buildings which normally take place every Saturday. More information on tours is available here.
The division comprises the following 4 units:
Human Resources Unit
The Human Resources Unit aligns the department’s work and resources around the priorities identified in the department's strategy statement and HR strategy.
The unit works to ensure that the department has the right profile of staff - with an appropriate mix of skills and grades in all areas - and addresses any skills gaps in order to deliver the department’s strategic goals and changing priorities.

Finance Unit
The Finance Unit delivers high-quality financial, procurement and travel management and related support services to the Department of the Taoiseach within a framework of defined financial authority, responsibility and accountability.

ICT Unit
The ICT Unit supports the Taoiseach, the government and the staff of the Department of the Taoiseach in carrying out their core activities and achieving their strategic objectives by providing the ICT facilities and services required in an efficient, flexible manner.

Management Services Unit
Provide and maintain Department of the Taoiseach accommodation and facilities and support staff in providing a quality service to the department's customers (both internal and external).
