Information and Records Management Unit

The Information/Records Management Unit has responsibility for records management and data protection in the department.
The unit is also responsible for the annual transfer of records from the department to the National Archives, and managing the departmental implications of the National Archives move towards releasing records when they are 20 years old instead of 30.
