Taoiseach Simon Harris appoints Nikki Bradley to Seanad Éireann

The Taoiseach has selected Nikki Bradley as the Taoiseach’s nominee to Seanad Éireann.
Ms Bradley is to replace Regina Doherty, who was elected to the European Parliament.
The Taoiseach said:
“Nikki’s extensive advocacy work and commitment will undoubtedly contribute significantly to our legislative process.
“Nikki’s journey is truly inspirational, and she will be an important voice in Seanad Éireann for people with disabilities.
“I know she will work tirelessly and will use her invaluable insight and knowledge to push for a better quality of life for others in Ireland and I look forward to working with her.
“I also want to thank Regina Doherty for her work in the Seanad and wish her well in her new role as a member of the European Parliament.”
