Progress Report

Since it was established the Programme Office has sharpened the focus on child poverty.

The work of the Programme Office and its impact is described in its first Progress Report.

Substantial progress has been made in building awareness of the complexity of the cross-government response, developing networks and ownership in multiple departments and agencies, focusing attention on child poverty during the Budget and in policy considerations.

This report presents progress updates for the six focus areas, while acknowledging challenges and highlighting emerging lessons and priorities.
