Principal Officer, Government Information Service

Government Information Service (GIS) provides the Taoiseach, the Government and the Department with press office and communications services. GIS works to ensure strong collaboration and coordination among communications offices in other Departments and agencies; coordinates, amplifies and creates communications on Government priorities; and, leads the development of Government communications, encouraging and supporting capacity-building in the areas of communications and engagement across the civil and public service.
