The Department provides financial assistance annually to Údarás na Gaeltachta. The overall provision for 2019 is €22.292m, as follows:
- €9m – Capital Expenditure
- €3.850m – Current Expenditure and
- €9.442m – Administration.
This funding is augmented by income generated by An tÚdarás’s rental income, sales of assets, etc.
