Brian Hogan has been assigned responsibility as Chief Surveyor in the Marine Survey Office (MSO), with the responsibility of managing the MSO.
The MSO is responsible for:
The regulation of the safety, security, pollution prevention and living and working conditions of all Irish ships and crews.
The inspection of foreign flagged ships and crews in Irish ports, and
The approval of port security plans.
