Phil O'Flaherty has been assigned responsibility at PO level for the Air Safety and Security Division. The role of the Aviation Safety and Security Division is to ensure a robust policy and legislative regime for aviation safety and security in Ireland through coordination with the key State actors and active engagement in the development of aviation safety and security policy and standards at an international level.
