Public Consultation on the Department of Transport Statement of Strategy 2025- 2028

The Department of Transport is preparing its Statement of Strategy 2025-2028, an important document which will set out our high-level goals and objectives as we move forward in our mission to “to deliver an accessible, efficient, safe and sustainable transport system that supports communities, households and businesses”.

Commitments contained in the Programme for Government Securing Ireland’s Future the Climate Action Plan, the National Development Plan, and other relevant policies will inform the development of our Strategy Statement as we set out our key objectives and outputs for the coming years.

As part of the consultation process, you are invited to express your views, which will further inform the development of our new Strategy Statement. Our current Statement of Strategy 2023-2025 is availablehere
