TEMPORARY CLOSING OF PUBLIC ROADS
Pursuant to Section 75 of the Roads Act 1993, & Article 12 of the Roads Regulations 1994, notice is hereby given that Cork County Council proposes to temporarily close the following road for the period and reason specified below:-

R624 East Beach and West Beach, Cobh, Co. Cork
Period of Proposed Closure
From 06:00hrs on Monday 28th September, 2020 to 18:00hrs on Sunday 28th February, 2021 (24hr Closure)
Reason for Proposed Closure
To facilitate Pipe Laying for the Lower Harbour Sewerage Scheme.
Alternative Routes
Approaching from the East turn right onto Harbour View L-9621, and continue straight onto Wolfe Tone Street L-9621-1. At the T- Junction turn right onto Sandymount L-2990, and turn left onto Smalls Well. Then turn left onto Spy Hill/Bishop Road L-2978, and continue to the junction with the R624.
Approaching from the West turn left into Pearse Square L-9619 and follow the road up Rahilly Street. At the junction, turn right onto Harbour Hill L-2990 and continue on to Harbour Row R624.
Objections to this proposed temporary road closure should be made in writing, to the undersigned, quoting Ref: TRC-149-2020, not later than 5pm on Wednesday 2nd September, 2020. Telephone contact details should be included in the objection.
