Climate Change Unit

The Climate Change Unit was established in 2016 to co-ordinate this department’s policy response to the challenge of climate change. This department will play an important role in the national objective to achieve a cost-effective way of reducing emissions. Ensuring transport infrastructure and services will be able to withstand the likely future impacts of climate change is also a serious concern.
