Irish Coast Guard Exercise on Wednesday 18 May

The Irish Coast Guard will lead a large-scale maritime exercise along with other agencies off the Donegal coast this Wednesday 18 May. The exercise titled ‘Blue Hill’s’ will test major incident plans and will focus on the operational capability and co-ordination of the relevant authorities for a major maritime search and rescue incident.
Agencies involved in this exercise include Donegal County Council, HSE, An Garda Síochána, Dublin Fire Brigade, Naval Service, Air Corps, RNLI and others.
The exercise will be conducted in the proximity of Donegal Bay and include both live and virtual participation. There will be no disruption to services during this exercise.
