This report provides a review of the activities of the Department of Transport in 2010 and the achievement of the Department‟s objectives during the year.

On the formation of the new Government in March 2011, the Taoiseach announced a newly established Department of Transport, Tourism and Sport to deliver highly critical aspects of economic activity including further development of our transport infrastructure and services and the support and enhancement of our significant tourism and sports sectors.
