The Low Emission Vehicle (LEV) Taskforce was established in December 2016 to consider the range of measures and options available to Government to accelerate the take-up of low carbon technologies in the road transport sector.
Low Emission Vehicle (LEV) Taskforce Progress Report
The work programme of the Taskforce has been structured into two distinct phases. The first phase focuses exclusively on electric vehicles (EVs). This includes both battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs)1. The second phase of the Taskforce’s work programme will cover all other low emission vehicles.
