31 March – 5 April 2025
The Department of Transport is proud to announce Logistics and Supply Chain Skills Week 2025, taking place from 31 March to 5 April 2025.
This nationwide initiative will spotlight career opportunities, green and digital innovation, and Ireland’s leadership in creating sustainable, resilient supply chains.
The 2025 events will continue to focus on three main themes: Digital, Diverse and Green.

A number of in person events are being held during the week to highlight the educational and career opportunities available within the Logistics and Supply Chain Sector.

- European Supply Chain Day 2025 Webinar – E3 at Trinity College Dublin

A number of very informative webinars are also scheduled to be held, including
- Challenges for decarbonising the Freight Distribution Logistics Sector (FDLS)
- Logistics and Supply Chain Apprenticeships
- Webinar for applicants to Logistics & Supply Chain Management courses in TU Dublin.
During Logistics Week, CILT Mobility & Supply Chain Skillnet, IPICS and Inchainge have partnered to offer a supply chain simulation game competition to third level students.
Students can enter for the opportunity to win a cash prize alongside a trophy for the winning team. For more details on the competition, see brochure attached that you can share with your students.
Entry is just €10 per teams of 4 or 5 people maximum. The competition will be held online over two evenings of 2-3 April during Logistics Week with the winners announced and awarded at the Knowledge Day taking place on 5 April at Rosslare Europort.

Sector Specific Careers Fairs
Sector specific Careers Fairs: Hosted by the Department of Social Protection, these careers fairs provide an opportunity for jobseekers to meet directly with employers who are actively recruiting at the moment. Invitations to employers will issue closer to the date.
