Guidelines regarding the age requirements of Small Public Service Vehicles (SPSVs). If you hold a SPSV licence that was transferred into your name after 7 June 2010, one of the conditions of the transfer was that the vehicle associated with the licence must be less than three years old. In such a case, if you wish to subsequently change the vehicle on that licence, the replacement vehicle must be no older than the vehicle it replaces. Members of the SPSV industry can check here if their vehicle will meet age requirements on renewal.
