MessagingIE – a new way to receive your government messages

Digital Postbox is changing to become a new easy-to-use service called MessagingIE.

MessagingIE will give you the same safe and secure access to your government messages and there will be no interruption to your service.

The Digital Postbox service will soon be moving to a new platform, MessagingIE. As part of this update, your existing messages will be seamlessly transferred to the new MessagingIE service. While all your messages will remain accessible, you may choose to download any important documents for your personal records. No action is required on your part, but if you prefer to have local copies of specific messages, you can download them by following the instructions below

1. Login to your Digital Postbox at https://digitalpostbox.ie/

2. Navigate to “Profile” in the top right dropdown menu.

3. In the “Export Data” tab choose “Export Data”.

4. Export “All Messages”.

5. Choose “Download Zip File”.

This zip file will contain all messages and attachments currently in your inbox.

MessagingIE is a newer, simpler, more modern service. You might notice it looks a little different from the Digital Postbox.

It will have a new gov.ie look, with a clear dashboard to help you access your messages.
