You can access Community Welfare Services in Westport by contacting:
This centre offers a walk-in service. While no appointment is necessary, appointments are available on request subject to demand.

If you don’t have access to email, you can call the National Intreo Contact Centre on 0818 405060 and the team will email westport@welfare.ie to request an appointment on your behalf.
Time slot availability will depend on queue sizes and a maximum number of interviews which can be facilitated daily. Long wait times may be experienced.
When attending the centre, you must have the correct documents with you. Please read the information on which documents you need to bring.
Please note, it is not necessary to have a Public Service Card to apply for a driving licence. For driving licence applications, please visit the National Driver Licence Service website.
The areas that this office provides services for are: Westport to Lenaun, Westport to Mullaranny and Westport to Islandeady. The Community Welfare Officer also covers Castlebar and surrounding areas including Turlough, Ballyvary, Balla, Belcarra, Ballintubber, Mayo Abbey, Ballyglass, Carnnacon, Islandeady, Straide, Glenisland & Glenhest.
