Consultation is closed
Donegal County Council proposes to upgrade the existing R263 & L-1195 with the provision of road widening and to improve the alignment between the Towns of Chill Chartha and na Carraige. The priority of Halls Junction between the R263 & L-1195 will also change.
The project will include:
- Full road construction of both online works and road realignments of the R263 for a length of approximately 960m,
- Full road construction of both online works and road realignments of the L-1195 at Halls Junction for a length of approximately 120m,
- New road markings, signage, drainage works, landscaping, safety barrier and accommodation work,
Waste material arising from the site will be reused within the works where appropriate, unsuitable materials will be removed a licensed waste facility.
