Apply for permission to collect money for charity on a Galway City Road or footpath

If you wish to collect money for a charity in Galway City in a way that may impede traffic, you must submit the following information in writing:
- where you will be collecting
- what collecting will entail
- when it is scheduled to take place
- why you are collecting
- potential impact of the event on road users, people in the area

The application will be assessed and further information may be requested either through a meeting with the applicant or further submissions.
The applicant must submit the application at least 5 weeks prior to the event taking place.
