How to upload translations to gov.ie

Each government department and agency has its own requirements when it comes to translating content on gov.ie.

If the user selects the Irish version of the site and a piece of content has not been translated, it will default to the English version.

When uploading Irish language versions, make sure to open the English version of the page and use the 'Irish' tab to insert Irish content. Do not make a separate Irish publication.

Do not include personal or financial information.

The information you submit will be analysed to improve gov.ie and will not be responded to individually.
