Leitrim County Council in the exercise of its powers under Section 57(1) and (2) of the Protection of the Environment Act 2003, Part 19 of the Local Government Act 2001 as amended, and the Local Government Act, 2001 (Bye-Laws) Regulations 2006, intends to make new bye-laws to prevent the creation of and control litter within County Leitrim.
