How to use MessagingIE

MessagingIE is easy to set up and easy to use. Register an account now and unlock all the benefits of having your own individual account for your government communications

Registering for a MessagingIE account is a one-off process. To start you will need a MyGovID account, which ensures your identity can be verified, in turn protecting your account. Once logged in you will be asked to accept our terms and conditions allowing all public service bodies to send messages to your MessagingIE account. When you are set up you will be able to start receiving your letters, messages and statements instantly into your MessagingIE mailbox.

Steps to getting started:

• Go to the MessagingIE portal
• Log in using MyGovID
• Accept the terms and conditions
• Accept all public service body (PSB) senders
• You’re ready to start receiving your messages.

From time to time, public bodies may send you a secure message link by email. When you click the link you will be brought to your MyGovID login page which provides access to MessagingIE.

MyGovID is your single login for government services in Ireland, and gives you safe online access to MessagingIE.

You will need to have a verified MyGovID account to log into your MessagingIE account.
