The Minister for Health, Mr. Stephen Donnelly T.D. has appointed Ms. Mary Kavanagh and Mr. Liam Morris to the Board of the National Haemophilia Council from the 5th August 2020 until the 4th August 2023
Ms. Mary Kavanagh is the Clinical Nurse Specialist at Children’s Health Ireland in Crumlin. She qualified as a general adult nurse in 1996 and as a children’s nurse in 1997. She has worked as a Clinical Nurse Specialist since 2001. She has been appointed as the new Chairperson of the European Association of Haemophilia and Allied Disorders (EAHD) Nurses Committee.
Mr. Liam Morris is the Principal Officer of the Blood & Organ Transplant and Acute Hospital Service Planning Policy Unit in the Department of Health. He has worked for a number of Government Departments, State Agencies and International Organisations.
