The Minister for Health Stephen Donnelly T.D., has reappointed the following members of the Consultative Council on Hepatitis C with effect from 21st December 2022 to 20th December 2025.
Mr Brian O’Mahony is the Chief Executive of the Irish Haemophilia Society, having previously served as Chair. He is President of the European Haemophilia Consortium and previously he was President of the World Federation of Haemophilia for 10 years. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences and of the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine. He also has professional qualifications in occupational health and safety and in management and holds an assistant adjunct Professors post in Trinity College, Dublin.
Ms. Deborah Greene has worked for the Irish Haemophilia Society since 2003. Ms. Greene is the current Administrator having taken up this role in May 2009. Ms. Greene is editor of IHS. publications and oversees event management, web design & social media, staffing and support and services to members. She is a member of the Irish Haemostasis Research Foundation and works with the World Federation of Haemophilia Twinning Programme
