Minister of State with special responsibility for Mental Health and Older People, Jim Daly TD, has appointed Dr Jack Nagle to the Mental Health Commission. This appointment is made from a Public Appointments Service campaign held to fill this vacancy. The appointment is for the period from 17 December 2019 to 4 April 2022.
Dr Jack Nagle
Jack has broad international work experience in the health sector over his 30 year career, with 15 years’ experience working in the Irish HSE and English NHS health systems.
As founder and CEO of Alpha Healthcare, Jack provides business consultancy, with specific expertise in:
Jack has provided strategic planning support to the Mental Health Commission, Medical Council and Sexual Health and Crisis Pregnancy group.
He has provided financial planning and management to healthcare organisations in UK and Ireland for over 15 years.
He is currently working with Department of Health Sláintecare team to develop the action plan for implementation of the Sláintecare program.
Jack was appointed to the Board of the NTPF in February 2014 and re-appointed for a second term in February 2017.
